Consistent, world-class excellence in translation
The WIP Difference

At WIP, ordering a translation is actually a pleasure.
Japan's translation industry boasts a number of companies renowned for their long history or sterling reputation. WIP stands out in particular for its stunning average growth of 200% per year since its establishment. At WIP, we feel this achievement is due to the six reasons we give our customers to come back to us.
If any of the following apply to you, we suggest that you give WIP a try:
|
You're already using a translation company, but find that the quality of the results leaves much to be desired. |
|
You're fed up with having to deal with inconsiderate and inflexible translation managers. |
|
You're someone who understands the importance of the written word. |
Reason 1: Designated translation staff
WIP constantly seeks to improve its understanding of each customer's needs and preferences, to ensure that customer satisfaction keeps getting better. One way we do this is by assigning the same project manager and translator to successive jobs.
If you are dissatisfied with the service provided by the manager assigned to you, please contact us at info-eng@japan.wipgroup.com and we will assign another manager as soon as possible.
Reason 2: Customized translations
We at WIP aim to be known for the care and flexibility we show to our customers. We ask customers to tell us about their preferences, so we can model our translation processes to match those preferences.
Some translations involve huge volumes, in which case customers often put priority on both speed and cost, while other assignments, such as company brochures, demand top quality, and still others, such as an urgent fax from a client, require speed above all else. We strive to adapt our translation procedures to match customers' wishes and help reduce costs.
For assignments requiring the highest quality, we offer a meticulous service employing top rung translators, checkers, and rewriters. This process includes detailed consultation with customers and rewriting of the source document (Japanese in the case of an English translation) where it is deemed necessary.
| Example 1: |
|

| Example 2: |

|
|

- Check of English grammar and any necessary corrections and editing by native English-speaking checker

Reason 3: Procedures that guarantee the best possible quality
We offer a service that utilizes only the industry's highest level of translators and checkers.
We feel that only personnel possessing the highest level of native ability in the target language combined with specialist knowledge can produce really trustworthy translations. WIP can call on the services of top-rung translators with specialist knowledge in fields as varied as IT, manufacturing, high technology, civil engineering, medicine and astronomy. We consult closely with customers on even the finest points to ensure that we deliver translations of the highest quality.
Reason 4: Quality guarantee
We feel that we have good reason to be confident of the quality of WIP translations, but in the event that our product does not meet with the satisfaction of customers, we undertake to carry out necessary revisions. If even then the customer is dissatisfied, we shall forego translation charges.
Reason 5: Priority reservations
Popular translators and checkers invariably have a number of ongoing projects on their plates, and are accordingly rarely available at short notice. For that reason, we strive to reserve the best possible personnel in advance for customers able to inform us of upcoming translation needs.
Reason 6: Absolute confidentiality
We of course guarantee that all source documents and translations will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. If so desired, we can provide written pledges or exchange non-disclosure contracts.
